The Teachers
Carol Claeys
Our long-term familiar figure in both New Haven and Guilford, can be
coaxed to teach a specialty class now and then. We’ve enticed her to
teach the Chain Mail Bracelet, and we know
you’ll enjoy Carol and the class.
Eleanor Fink
Eleanor Is a long time Bead Hive employee and respected teacher. Her helpfulness
enhances her skill as a beader. The Bead Hive has been fortunate enough to
have her introduce many enthusiastic individuals to the joy of beading.
Eleanor is teaching all Beginning Beading in
both New Haven and Guilford, and specialty classes – Crystal
Tennis Bracelet, Semi-precious lariat with
Dangles, the Peyote Bugle Bracelet, the Summer
Fruit Necklace, and the Peyote Snake Bracelet.
Marcia Moore
Marcia has gained a reputation for her original fused glass pendants and
buttons and now she adds a watchband to the collection. One of our most
talented teachers, Marcia is teaching the following specialty classes: Beaded
Wire Crochet, the Beaded Toggle and the Diachroic
Watch Band.
Barbara Richard
Barbara is new to our teaching staff. She comes to us from a
background of teaching and is an extensive beader having learned from both Marcia and
Eleanor. We welcome her debut with three classes, Brick
Stitch Earrings, A Leaf Bracelet, and
the Beaded Bead Bracelet. Welcome Barbara.
Danielle Jurkiewicz
Danielle will be the teaching at the Kids Kamp Beading Bash.
She has the experience to tease out children’s’ talents, and to do
so with humor and patience. She can be found working at The Bead Hive in
Guilford on various days.
